Ian MacKaye - Limited Edition of 100
This photograph is offered as a limited edition of 100 prints. Each print is individually numbered and signed by the artist.

A portrait of Ian MacKaye — founder of Dischord Records, frontman for Minor Threat, Fugazi, and The Evens, and the man who unintentionally sparked the Straight Edge movement. This image is one of the final portraits taken on the original front steps of the iconic Dischord House, as seen on the cover of the 1985 EP Salad Days. After printing it on a skate deck and sending it to Ian, he replied:

“many thanks for the skatedeck photo! it’s funny to see that image blown up because just today i had the steps rebuilt and they’re going to be repainted. it occurs to me that your photos are some of the last of the way things have looked for the last 20 or so years!”

Printed on Archival Legacy Fibre 100% cotton paper with a 1-inch border (1/2 inch for sizes smaller than 17x22).

These prints are fine art photography. They are not official merchandise and are not endorsed by the artists or rights holders.
